In addition to the already described criteria, Fair Transport includes a comprehensive terms of use document which has to be complied with by registered companies. In addition, companies are checked at several stages – at the time of registration and by a third party.
It is this third-party review that enables Fair Transport to be classified as sustainability certification. At the time of registration and in conjunction with the annual update, it is the responsibility of representatives from Fair Transport to conduct this review and give their approval. Otherwise, the task is handed over to a third-party assessor.
